Welcome to Resourceful Idiot (also referred to as Ri) and I hope you have enjoyed the site thus far. The idea behind this site is to ask the questions that most software engineers and developers either are too afraid to ask or forget to ask them all together. So what material does this entail? For a broad range of what I hope to cover on this blog are things like conceptual explanations about things they do not teach you in college to the business approach to startups. Now this will not be a site you want to visit to find out what a linked list is, but it is the site you come to for information about development methodologies, creating web services, and finding information about employment in the development field. With that, I invite you to click the home page and head back to reading some of Ri’s posts or keep reading for some information about the writers behind the scenes.

Staff

Justin Smestad - Founder, Editor in Chief

A recent college graduate and a full time software developer, Justin brings useful information beyond his years in the field. Much of this information is attributed to his father, a CFO, and the rest of his family who all have business degrees. This mix allows him to post things from a unique business-oriented perspective which is commonly overlooked in the field of software engineering.

Jaclyn Grubb - Editor

She is currently attending the University of Iowa working toward her degrees in business and vocal performance. WIthout her oversight many of the articles would not be nearly as readable and grammatically correct as they are. Her contributions help ensure our content maintains the high quality our readers expect.
